This is a little bit of advice for Kobe Bryant to help him try and learn the error of his ways. The error of his ways from a PR stand point anyway.I have no doubt that personally on a one on one basis that Kobe could well be a delightful human being, but he does a great job at hiding it.I have been thinking for a while-what could Kobe do improve his image?More importantly what could he do to improve his image without the use of a time machine?I'm not trying to make him right past wrongs-whats done is done.I'm focusing on the present and future.I was thinking what current NBA player could revitilise Kobe's public image? Then,it dawned on me,what NBA superstar have I yet to see on any news program or ticker? What NBA superstar have yet to hear rumours about their personal or sporting life? The answer is:Steve Nash.
Now of course, there have been other players I haven't heard much about this summer, but Nash is not just any player-he is an NBA superstar,a two time MVP,he is one of the leagues' star attractions. And when was the last time you heard something bad said bout him? When was the last time there have been reports of him being a primadonna or demanding a trade?Kobe,if you follow the following rules you will be liked:
SHARING IS CARING(so try it sometime)
Nash plays the game team first,he passes the ball,he is a leader to his teammates,he will pass up a wide open shot if there is a teammate in a better position. Now Kobe,I know that you think your team has the talent of a D-League bottom feeding team, but if you have a bit of faith in them they will of you too.Just say if you pass to an open shooter instead of shooting a fade-away three out of a triple team the team will respond to that, they will like you again, they'll invite you to their poker games. Now this doesn't mean you can't be a scorer or take over games. You just need to be aware that those people in the yellow jerseys on the court are with you,not obstacles or fans with really expensive tickets. The message is:take over when you need to,not when you want to.
LESS SELF PROMOTION/KEEP A LOW PROFILE
I hear what you are saying,"Surely more self promotion would help".No stop thinking that, you have done a terrible job promoting yourself. For instance your website-the fact that it even exists makes you come across as arrogant and fame seeking. Now unless you want to be a do-nothing anorexic socialite whore,I would strongly advise you to take the Steve Nash method. The only thing close to a Steve Nash website I could find is one promoting his charity.Nash doesn't walk around with body guards like you do,he can often be seen in New York just living his life without much outside interferance.I know your profile is higher than Nash's but the point remains the same:the more untouchable make yourself look, the more people want to touch you.Your need for body guards gives you an air of superiority which you may seem to like but nobody else does.Muhammad Ali said:"I'll never look down on somebody who looks up to me".You seem to look down on everyone.
KEEP PRIVATE TEAM MATTERS-PRIVATE
This one is obvious and very simple. If you want to be traded or if there is some sort of unrest within your orginization, you go to your GM and try and straighten things out and come to a conlcusion that your happy with.Your public trade demand looked like a pitiful "look at me!!!" tactic. You knew you never wanted to be traded, you knew the team would never get equal value for you-your the best in the business. You knew it would be a very tricky deal to work out.Your trade demand was a statement making sure that everyone knew that your the star and everyone should try and keep you happy you happy. This type of tactic does not result in a good image. In this case you should take the example of the whole Pheonix Suns team.Earlier in the summer it looked like there might have been some unrest when it was thought that they were willing to trade Amare Stoudemire. But did they? No.Do we know if they were really willing to?No.Even if they were willing to trade him and even if there is unrest-we don't know and thats the way a good team works.--Next time say nothing.
NEVER DO AN INTERVIEW WITH AN ESPN "INSIDER" AGAIN

White hot eboy is a bitch.
If kobe wins an Olympic medal for US next year, none of this will matter
I still like your ideas to fix Mambitch's public image better than most everyone else's.
